The rodent war continues

Wednesday is a particularly busy day for us, with the girls being dropped off in four separate places! So any later than a 6.30am start on this day causes havoc with all other plans. Fortunately this morning we had a smooth beginning that didn't turn to chaos until at least 7.15am. The cat caught three more baby mice and is slowly but surely wiping out an entire rodent family, which is good news for us and the chickens who have been sharing their meals. Kristina does not share this opinion however and is quite apalled every morning at the growing death toll. Admittedly it is a little gruesome with headless bodies littering the ground, and they seem intent on depositing them under the clothesline. Even the dog, Mya now has joined the war and has her own growing body count too. Despite this we managed to make is to preschool, school, babysitting and work relatively on time. SO i am enjoying the lull in activity during me deisgnated 'lunch' break which is a unique opportunity on work days.
